Pick a spot at roughly chest height on you — high enough that your cat feels above the room, low enough that an older cat gets up in one step. Mount it flat against the wall, then press down hard on the nest once before you let your cat near it. If it doesn't shift, it's set. Drywall works, but a stud is better if your cat is on the heavier end.

We could have priced the bed at $99.99 and called shipping "free." A lot of stores do. We'd rather show you the real breakdown. We're a small brand, and we're working with our packaging partner on a compressed carton — when that cost drops, this rate drops with it.
